Dear Mr. La Pietra:
Thank you for agreeing to be "locked-up" for one hour on either
Tuesday, July 14, or Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at, Mrs. Peter's
Chicken Dinners to help "Jerry's Kids". As discussed in your
recent phone conversation, you are sheduled to be "jailed" from
10-11. Your suprot in this effort is appreciated not only by MDA
and Mrs. Peter's Chicken Dinners, but most importantly by the
local families in Kansas who are served by the Association.
Please plan to "turn yourself" in at least 10 minutes prior to
your sheduled jail time. Mrs. Peter's is located at 4960 State
Avenue, in Kansas City, Kansas. An MDA representative will be
waiting in jail to register you, take your mug shot, and lock
you up for your hour!
Because you are such a noyorious citizen, the president judge
has generously set your bail at $1,000. or by serving ONE HOUR
of your time behind bars for "GOOD" in the MDA jail. You will
be released after one hour regardless of how much bail money you
raise.
Enclosed you will find MDA Lock-Up information and a bail log.
Use this log to keep track of the bail money you collect before
the day of the arrest, and a bail money with you to the Lock-Up.
Enclosed you will also find a Jailbird fax form to fax to all of
your friends letting them know what a good citizen you are...
PLUS, it's another easy way to raise your bail money ahead of time!
MDAc will send a thank you letter, a pledge slip and a return
envelope to each person who generously makes a pledge to bail
you out of jail.
Don't forget to bring your rolodex and/or your address book!
Remember, the purpose of this Lock-Up is to raise the most money
possible for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the local
families who live with a neuromuscular disease.
Start raising your bail money today and prizes will be awarded,
for the JAILBIRD who brings in the most collected bail money prior
to their "jail time". Again, thank yiu for your support! If I can
